How can I get my money back?

I wrote a check to a merchant for services and never received any. I called the bank to try and get my money back and they weren’t any help. They said since I wrote the check, there is nothing they can do about it.

How can I get my money back if no one is answering the phone or returning emails?

I’ve worked with a merchant provider, and I really hated the service because they always had technical problems. I know this is sometimes unavoidable, but is there a site with a system that doesn’t go bust most of the time? I have a online store that sells electronics. A person purchased 2 laptops and a Camcorder. I shipped the products from a dropshipper and had the delivery confirmed. Now, 45 days later, I have a chargeback that the credit card company says I am responsable for. The credit card was reported stolen after the purchases were made. My merchant services won’t help me, they say I have to payup. I did not commit the fraud, it was commited against me. Does any one know the right place to file a complaint report? I know this persons address. My business is in PA and the merchandise was delivered to AZ. The police there said I had to file with PA police. No one wants to help. Anyone know who can?

AB/JobTypes/Deep-Sea/Merchant Service?

A have a question about AB jobs on-board deep-sea ships:

Is it correct that most deep-sea U.S. flagged ships now carry 6 AB’s and that they are divided into 3 watchstanders and 3 dayworkers?

So, do only the dayworkers handle lines or does all the deck force (OS/AB’s) turn out for mooring/unmooring the vessel?

And is it easier to ship out as a watchstander or as a dayworker?

I like to stand engine room watch, but I’ve heard US Flag ships aren’t carrying oilers as watchstanders much anymore.

It’s good news that there are still watchstander AB’s and those jobs are easier to get.

Don’t they always ship AB’s from the hall as either a watchstander or a dayworker so you know before you go?

If I go to Naval Academy or Merchant Marine, when do I chose whether to go into the Navy or Marines?

I want to be a SEAL, but if somthing DQs me along the way I dont want to be stuck in the fleet so i will want to go Marines. When do we have to choose what service we want?

I am currently working on a website hosted by Yahoo Small Business Solutions. I will be offering a service in which will have to be paid for in order to have access to this service.
